New Construction:

The Landing Resort & Spa is primarily new construction on the old Royal Valhalla site. All existing buildings have been stripped to steel and studs and rebuilt as new construction, and a new connector building has been added.

Background/quote:

Owners of The Landing James and Nancy Demetriades realized the need for a new luxury resort that fully embraces Lake Tahoe’s spectacular beauty. “We’ve created The Landing out of our own desire for a five-star property located on the lake,” says James Demetriades.  “We want to provide guests with luxurious accommodations that seamlessly integrate with the natural beauty of our unique lakeside setting.”

Dining:

Located onsite, Jimmy’s Restaurant is a distinctive enclave serving wood-fired Greek seafood and locally sourced California cuisine, where “even the simplest dishes … shine,” according to Forbes. Called “outstanding” by The New York Times and “a favorite from the music … to attentive service” by Haute Living, Jimmy’s Restaurant features several private dining alcoves – each with its own fireplace.  Five additional fire pits invite guests to linger on the patio or rooftop deck overlooking the lake.  In-room dining is also available.  Guests also will find an array of excellent cafes and restaurants nearby.

Lakeview Rooftop Deck (3600 sq. ft.): 300 Wedding Ceremony, 250 Cocktail Reception
